Taleth
Taleth is a 2D real-time action MMORPG, playable instantly in your browser. Set in a quiet, low-fantasy open world, It's inspired by old-school classics like Diablo II and by the grounded charm of Graveyard Keeper and Stoneshard, blending their tone with the freedom of a living, handcrafted world. Every blade, loaf of bread, and thread of cloth can be crafted, traded, or fought over. Every town, ruin, and wild stretch of land is built by hand.
Currently an early alpha, it focuses on the southern realm of Hammerwyn, where players can explore forests, mines, and villages, learn crafts, fight with steel or spell, and build their own place in a fragile land still finding its identity.
You begin as nobody, armed with nothing but stubborn will. Farm, mine, hunt, or simply wander until you find meaning, or just a decent sword. Taleth rewards patience, curiosity, and a touch of recklessness.
Features
- Explore a handcrafted medieval world without handholding.
- Shape your build through weapon choice, armor material, and skill mastery; no classes, no presets.
- Fast-paced, real-time action combat where timing and positioning are far more critical than gear score.
- Unlock dozens of professions: blacksmithing, farming, woodworking, alchemy, and more.
- Discover and combine materials to forge powerful weapons and gear.
- Encounter other travelers: make alliances, trade, fight, or ignore them.
- Delve into ancient dungeons and earn your place in the stories people tell.
- Watch the world evolve as you do: resources deplete, seasons shift, people remember.

this is possibly merely a pet peeve of mine & im aware of how much more development /playtesting would be required to remedy what icks me ,the thing is i'd really love instead of realtime to have the day move when an action is performed instead ,i know i could just pause with the menu but i cant enjoy menus ,i can only enjoy the gameplay ^^ ,no expectations whatsoever i just hope you understand.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately that wouldn't be possible because it's a persistent world that all the online players share. the day/night cycle and the events that are triggered with them are also the same for all players. I hope you can get used to it!
